Justified Use of Force: Oklahoma Shooting

The Wagoner County Oklahoma Sheriff and the District Attorney have exonerated Zach Peters and called his actions justified in the shooting and killing of the three teen home invaders who broke into his family’s home on March 27th 2017. Zach was at home when the three burglarized first the family’s garage and then broke into his family’s home. Zach (23) armed himself with an AR-15 which he used in defending himself.

All three were wearing ski masks and one was armed with brass knuckles and another with a fixed blade knife.

Incredibly, the Grandfather of one of the deceased home invaders stated to the police: “Brass knuckles against an AR-15? C’mon. Who was afraid for their life?” .

Elizabeth Rodriguez (23) was the mastermind of the home invasion and the purported get away driver. She’s been charged with three counts of felony first degree murder, one count of first degree burglary, and one count of second degree burglary. She faces the death penalty, or life without parole, or life in prison.
